nyar nyar nyar nyar nyar...
for whatever reason...
my brain is all fogged up...
it makes it very difficult to write this entry...
and work on any homework...
I sat down for about 3 hours and couldn't think of anything for GD4...
nyar nyar nyar nyar nyar...
I think that I need something really fun and pointless to do...
like a good video game...
or get my computer working so I can watch some One Piece...
I was drawing really well yesterday...
but it was all doodles...
maybe my GD4 project can be a collection of my doodles...
with a narration...
making some sort of story...
maybe documenting my drawing habits...
...
gnaw...
that is all sorts of lameness.

Okay... it's almost 8 at night and I am still in St. Louis. This is probably not the best idea, because it currently looks like I am not going to be getting home untill much much later. Oh well, any extra time with Tray-Tray is time well spent.
I was supposed to see the Carbon Leaf show at the Duck Room, but because of some crazy adventures involving Texas, Italy, The Red Sea and Reggae music.
The They Might Be Giants was very very cold, I can't imagine playing those instruments with that weather. Poor John L. didn't play his accordion very much, it was so cold. In the middle of the show they had a power out... so it was a good show considering. I did get to be shoved up into the second row, and some bouncers gave me lots of beads!

Happy Valentines day everyone! I hope you all don't waste too much money on forced presents, and end up not making you and your loved ones disappointed.
Continuing tradition Tray and I broke up again this year; now to bring on the women!
I do need to call Keebs today to see if she still wants to have our hot lesbian date! I kinda have a hell of a lot to do today so I should try to make it a lunch date. Hmm....

So we found out why the heat would leave our living room so quickly... there was a huge gap in between the window and the rest of the wall. It was over a 1/2 an inch wide. So we got a bunch of tape and fixed it right up. Now the room is exactly the temp. that the thermostat says it is. Of course it is a lot warmer today then normal, very sad to think that in the 30's is warm. Oh well.
It might snow tomorrow... 80 percent chance. I am a little tired of getting my shoes all soggy though. But if it is going to be cold we might as well have it snow. I just hope that it isn't too cold this weekend in St. Louis, it might take away from the They Might Be Giants concert I am planning on going to. It will be my 3rd TMBG show, for they are super fun cool people to see on stage. Even if you don't like their music, they are extremely fun to watch. A very lively bunch of Johns.
My Tablet rocks my face hardcore. I did a digital painting this weekend, so so so so SO much fun! I really should do some more, I am so fast with painting, it can't hurt. Too bad my workload feels so large, it's hard to go back to the studio unless I need to. It's not a fun walk to campus... especially if there is snow.

It's a little strange to get out of class early like this (10:30ish) because I just don't know what to do with my time. I don't work well in the morning... can't get focused. It must be because I am almost never up and running before 11:00 am (oh who am I kidding) 12:00pm...
I enjoyed the map discussion today. I am a big fan of cool maps. One thing that I didn't really appreciate was when I would make a comment and I would get a scoff from some of my peers. Really, a scoff when I am participating in class!??!?! Are we in middle school again.
Reminds me of my freshmen year when my roomie and her friend across the room would give each other a 'look' when I would talk. Pissed me off a lot.
I'm a dork... I am aware of that... but really I don't deserve to feel like I shouldn't give my say in something (when it is decently appropriate and not talking for talking sake, because I HATE it when people add things just because they want to hear their own voices, *vomit*)
Pet peeves-
I don't know if this would be considered a pet peeve (more of a random quirk) I really get grossed out when people eat cheese... not melted cheese as in nachos or pizza.. like solid blocks of cheese. I don't know why.

There are two things that I adore, The French Revolution and animated movies/shows, so when the two come together you know I am a happy happy fangirl.
I have just found out that Japan has come out with another monstrosity(super freak'n awesome show) Les Miserables (the animated show!) YAY! (okay not really the French Revolution but.. eh... close enough) The only sad thing is that I think it is going to be Cosette centered, because the full title is Les Miserables - Shoujo Cosette (Maiden Cosette roughly). Thus not as dark as I like.
Other great angry French anime that are good...
Gankutsuo, a psychedelic Count of Monte Cristo set in the future... with vampires... kinda... really crazy visualization thing going on. Really good for as crazy as it sounds.
Rose of Versailles, a great late 70's "shoujo" with awesome crazy music and hair! I watched while I was in Italy known as Lady Oscar. The Italian opening rocks my face. I found this great youtube video that has the original group singing it... one of them is a guy with a CRAZY mane thing going on.
Har har har... historical animated romance... gotta love it
I think the reasons that I like animated shows more the live action are that with an animated show... the plots can be as crazy, take as many turns and it doesn't feel implausible and that a lot of characters in live action shows just seem dumb and piss me off (except in some excellent shows like House and exc.) Mostly teens, I hate TV teens. When they are animated then of course they are dumb... there a cartoon. That complete lack of reality that can only happen in an animated show.
I wonder what show would be horrible animated that doesn't suck anyway....

freakin' cold... FREAKIN' COLD!
My house is absolutely freezing... it is 60 degrees in this house and our thermostat is set at 88.
It's horrible, you can't cook food, you can't watch TV, you can't do anything. The computer isn't doing well either. The touch pad on the laptop is all messed up, when you try to move around all it does is hover in little tiny circles. So now my favorite mouse is hooked up.
My big sister is currently in town, saying with her boyfriend. I don't think she is working anymore because she got a job in LA and her former job in Ceder Rapids is done. I can't imagine her living so far away, and in Cali none the less! I guess it just means more reason to visit. Yay carpool lanes.
I didn't get home today until about 9... finally eating at 10. Justin made cake... chocolate cake.

For the first time in many years I gathered with a group of individuals to watch the epic game known as the super bowl. As I child I remember the excitement of each commercial break; too bad that it is no longer felt. In my absence the commercial have fallen... they are horrendous and lacking any sort of inspiration. Okay, there were a few clever ones but really... mostly disappointing.
The worst part was the fact that I was watching this with my good friend Anne... who was horrible drunk. Not really that bad BUT when no one else cares about what happens to her, you find yourself at your own personal super 'bowl' that has no entertaining commercial breaks. poor thing. The party I went to was being held by her cousin's family. Sooo... everyone who was there was over 26, married and with children (ages <2.5 years), and not very interested with socializing with me.
Eventually I did get some help to get her to her sister's car... drove to her parents who then took care of her, thank GOD I could rest knowing that she would be okay.
Now I am home much later then anticipated... and needing to write a paper that's due tomorrow. Wish me luck!

ummmm ... hangin' out with the Kevin and Kyle playing video games.
I am now boycotting the Mars Cafe show on the fact that Matty( or Maddy, eh... whatever) is a bitch. *shakes fist in anger*
Also a Sierra Mist, Rainbow Sorbet, coconut, strawberry, simple syrup, Skittle, and Nerd smoothies are not a good idea. They end up looking like a 6 year old girl's birthday party if it was put in a blender. I think the coconut shavings really pushed it over the edge.
